I am pleased to inform you of an online event that I have organized. I think it has special relevance in the times that we live in.
As you are aware, I have been to the Ashram in Goa, India several times and I have been very impressed with what I have seen there. It was like peering into a world that our world can be like – a place of kindness, consideration for others, warmth, and gentleness. A place where people focus on needs and not wants. It is an altruistic world, where people work tirelessly for the benefit of others and humanity. I learned that it is a place that nurtures spiritual leadership and practices it.
I have invited Mr Sean Clarke from the Spiritual Research Centre and Ashram to share with us about the topic of spiritual leadership. Sean is a graduate of the prestigious National Defence Academy in India. After serving in the Indian Armed Forces, he ventured into the business world. He completed his Masters in Business Administration from the Monash Mt Eliza Business School in Melbourne, Australia, and has worked in Hong Kong and Australia in the media and tech sectors.
In 2006, he gave up a lucrative career to go live a minimalist life in the Spiritual Research Centre and Ashram as a volunteer despite it not making any sense at a worldly level. Months turned into years and after having lived in an Ashram for over 14 years and adopting a spiritual way of life, he tells me now that if he had a choice, he would do it all over again as the spiritual learnings and experiences far outweigh any worldly sacrifices. Sean is in a unique position to have witnessed leadership in the Armed Forces, the business world, and in the spiritual community.
Sean is the Editor of ssrf.org – a leading Spiritual Research website, which has millions of views from all over the world. He is also involved with the Spiritual Research Team at the Maharshi Adhyatma Vishwavidyalay (also known as the Maharshi University of Spirituality). The focus of Spiritual Research is to increase awareness about how the spiritual dimension affects every aspect of our lives. The Spiritual Research shows that there is more to the world than meets the eye and that spiritual vibrations, pure and impure (Sattva, Raja, and Tama), have a significant impact on the world around us. If we ignore it, we do so at our own peril and the worlds. A key ingredient to being a good leader is to reduce one’s personality defects along with ego. This is something that is incorporated throughout the day in a seeker’s life at the Ashram and it is followed by the leaders as well the seekers at the Ashram.
We invite you to join us for this online webinar and gain insight into a new, unique dimension of holistic leadership.
