AWAKE2PARADISE – short synopsis

For the first time in human history, we have reached a point where our actions decide our own survival and that of countless species. But what is the fundamental psychological and social cause of our urge to destroy ourselves, other living beings and the Earth? And – is it too late, or do we still have a chance to live paradise on Earth?

With these questions in her luggage, and with the deep wish that her son and all the children of this world may live on a healthy Earth worth living on, Catharina Roland sets out on a transformative journey to ask scientists, coaches and visionaries how we as humanity can find our way back into balance with nature.

In moving images, seasoned with touching stories and inspiring interviews, the film shows how our inner and outer health and the health of the Earth are linked in an inseparable cycle. It presents concrete solutions and inspires viewers to become the change we so urgently need. For in order to create paradise around us, we first have to find paradise within ourselves. And that is exactly the door the film opens.
