GFE CHP plant | Data overview 28.09.2019
The NET-Journal reports: a first provisional evaluation by four experts
Around 200 people attended the announced demonstration of a combined heat and power plant (CHP plant) that was run on an emulsion of water and rapeseed oil in a ratio of 4:1 (!).
According to the evaluation, it was shown in principle that a CHP plant can be run on an emulsion of one part rapeseed oil and four parts ordinary tap water. The efficiency is said to be markedly higher than when running on diesel or heating oil. Here is the link to the test data:

BACKGROUND / BOOK TIP: Who remembers how the "GFE scandal" unfolded?
Clean and affordable energy for everyone… doesn’t that sound fascinating?
Off-grid electricity and environmentally friendly heating from water instead of diesel… a concept for the future – that is what the GFE promised. Entrepreneur Horst Kirsten brought the corresponding technology with combined heat and power plants to series production. Soon, thousands of households could have been heated with his CHP plants. But in the end the lobbying power of the energy companies was stronger. The GFE was attacked with accusations of fraud, and the energy revolution turned into a judicial scandal.
Horst Kirsten spent six years in prison because he believed in a future of clean energy. In this book he tells his story.
