New oranges: the Sanguinelli variety

We have exciting news: we have recently started offering the delicious Sanguinelli oranges, a variety many of our customers have asked us about. This orange is distinguished by its striking, intense dark red colour and its unique taste with a very refreshing hint of acidity. It is perfect for juices and desserts and gives dishes a special touch.

Due to logistical constraints, our Sanguinelli is only available in the following formats

Boxes of 10 kg
Boxes of 15 kg
Boxes of 20 kg
Mixed boxes with 10 kg Lanelate and 10 kg Sanguinelli

We are sorry that in this case we cannot offer any other combinations with other products.

Joint ordering through (supra-)regional supply

On a voluntary basis, we are building alternatives to the existing corporate and industrial supply chain:

Get in touch

People in a region join forces, record their needs for goods and services (monthly, for example) and agree their requirements with ethically operating producers, traders and service providers, with call-offs that are as even as possible and optimised for transport.

We then order for many people on a single customer account and have the orders delivered directly to you or to the regions, where they are distributed further. This means less work for the supplier, who has only one customer account to manage and fewer invoices, but a larger order volume. In the regions, people come together, talk to each other again and, by pooling small separate orders, also enjoy better prices per kilo (for example with 20 kg packs).

In the 2022/2023 season we ordered a tonne of citrus fruit from “Orangen frisch nach Hause” in this way and were rewarded at the end of the season with a 5% discount on all orders.

Exact availability, prices, varieties and shipping information can be found in the product overview. As part of the (supra-)regional supply project we can offer the prices direct from the plantation at a slight discount, with no delay and direct delivery to you.

Product overview

For years we have pointed to direct shipping from Ruth Palomero’s plantation in València, Spain. Depending on the season, you can order oranges, tomatoes, lemons, mandarins or avocados there directly from the plantation by parcel service, without intermediaries. It hardly gets fresher or more convenient. We have no financial interest in orders; we simply like to recommend it.
