Our commitment to flavour and good service comes first

We are currently shipping Orogros mandarins, which are delicious and very easy to peel. Try them – as the first of the season, they are twice as good! Our commitment to flavour and good service remains our top priority.

Another priority is improving our team’s working conditions. For this reason, and to make sure you continue to receive the best products, Paco, our new head of the grove team, is optimising the organisation of the grove workers in selecting the freshest and tastiest produce. On the other side, Patricia has now joined as team leader of the warehouse team to ensure that orders are processed properly and accurately.

Finally, we have bought a new hydraulic machine for our warehouse, which allows our staff to palletise the boxes properly and with less physical effort.

Joint ordering through (supra-)regional supply

On a voluntary basis, we are building alternatives to the existing corporate and industrial supply chain:

People in a region join forces, record their needs for goods and services (monthly, for example) and agree their requirements with ethically operating producers, traders and service providers, with call-offs that are as even as possible and optimised for transport.

We then order for many people on a single customer account and have the orders delivered directly to you or to the regions, where they are distributed further. This means less work for the supplier, who has only one customer account to manage and fewer invoices, but a larger order volume. In the regions, people come together, talk to each other again and, by pooling small separate orders, also enjoy better prices per kilo (for example with 20 kg packs).

In the 2022/2023 season we ordered a tonne of citrus fruit from “Orangen frisch nach Hause” in this way and were rewarded at the end of the season with a 5% discount on all orders.

Exact availability, prices, varieties and shipping information can be found in the product overview. As part of the (supra-)regional supply project we can offer the prices direct from the plantation at a slight discount, with no delay and direct delivery to you.

Product overview

For years we have pointed to direct shipping from Ruth Palomero’s plantation in València, Spain. Depending on the season, you can order oranges, tomatoes, lemons, mandarins or avocados there directly from the plantation by parcel service, without intermediaries. It hardly gets fresher or more convenient. We have no financial interest in orders; we simply like to recommend it.
