We are delivering new fruit

Ruth reports on new activities and growth.

Ruth PalomeroDear customers, it is a real pleasure to be able to tell you that we now have permission to sell organic citrus fruit and fruit “in conversion to organic”. It was a challenge for us that involved financial investment, hard work and even a change of workplace.

But we are taking on this challenge with great joy and in the conviction that it is the best thing for the environment and therefore for all of us. It also makes us one of the first companies in the Valencia region to sell organic citrus fruit directly to end consumers in Europe.

For the moment we are starting with an orange grove belonging to our friend Leo, who applied to convert his production a little over a year ago and has now received the “in conversion to organic” certificate. From January we will have oranges from another grove, Santi’s, which is already certified organic. At the same time, you can of course continue to order our usual citrus fruit if you wish.

At this link (German) you will find interesting information about the three kinds of citrus fruit we offer. They differ in the way the groves are treated. In all cases, the fruit is not treated after harvesting, as you already know.

We would also like to let you know that lemons are now available in our shop, and that we will be selling clementines until next weekend. After that, we plan to start harvesting our delicious Clemenvilla.

Oranges

Mandarins

Mixed boxes

We hope the new oranges are to your taste, and send you our warmest regards. Orangen frisch nach Hause

For years we have been pointing to direct shipping from Ruth Palomero’s plantation in València. There you can order oranges and mandarins directly from the farmer to your home, without any middlemen. It (almost) doesn’t get any fresher or more convenient. We gain nothing financially from orders. We are simply happy to recommend it.
