Fresh avocados delivered straight to your home

Fresh avocados delivered straight to your home

We are pleased to be able to offer our customers another high-quality food.

Ruth PalomeroWe also grow avocados of the Lamb Hass variety. It is a fruit of tropical origin with many health-promoting properties and an excellent taste.

They are usually used in salads and sauces such as guacamole. Lamb Hass avocados ripen 10 to 12 days after harvest. If you want to speed up the ripening of individual fruits, a good trick is to put an apple next to them. Once ripe, they are best kept in the fridge, where under good conditions they will keep for up to about a week.

You can add a few kilos of avocados to your orange order, or you can buy a whole box of avocados, containing 4.5 kg or 9 kg each. These avocados reach you without any post-harvest treatment.

As we did last season with tomatoes, we would like to add avocados to our range in order to overcome, to some extent, the seasonality of our business and the problem it creates for employing our staff. We also think it can benefit our customers to buy avocados through a short supply chain. Last year the tomatoes were a complete success, and we will offer them again as soon as they are ripe, which will probably be from May onwards.

Shipments always go out on Mondays so that the transport time to your home is as short as possible. The first shipment will take place next Monday, 22 March.

We hope you will enjoy our home-grown avocados as much as we do.

For years we have been pointing to direct shipping from Ruth Palomero’s plantation in València. There you can order oranges and mandarins directly from the farmer to your home, without any middlemen. It (almost) doesn’t get any fresher or more convenient. We gain nothing financially from orders. We are simply happy to recommend it.
