Opening of the GAIA regional centre in Purkersdorf

Small but well-appointed rooms are now available, by appointment, for individual meetings and consultations as well as for sessions with the cell activator. Small-scale regional events or training courses are also possible here.

Some of you may still remember: we were active in Purkersdorf once before, but gave up the premises for financial reasons in September 2015.

Four years later, the opportunity finally arose to return to this location with its good public transport links.

The new rooms are smaller – which, we think, makes them even better suited to their new purposes.

The topic of the “cell activator” keeps growing. It now has a regional home in Purkersdorf.

Facilities for a wide range of uses

Smaller meetings and workshops can also be held there. Internet, printer, scanner, telephone, flipchart and facilities for presentations and webinars are available.

Purkersdorf lies to the west, right on the Vienna city boundary.

By public transport it is easy to reach, for example in 13 minutes from Westbahnhof or in 8 minutes from the U4 station Hütteldorf. The railway station “Purkersdorf Zentrum” and bus stops (e.g. “Purkersdorf Kirche”) are only about 2 minutes’ walk from the regional centre.

By car, you can reach us at the end of the West Autobahn (A1) via the “Auhof” exit, then on the B1 towards Purkersdorf / Tulln. There is plenty of free parking within walking distance in the centre for up to 2 hours. The park & ride car park on the B44 towards Pressbaum, right by the Wien river, is also only 3 minutes’ walk away.

• BLUE ZONE (parking spaces around the main square): 2 hours free with a parking disc

• GREEN ZONE (municipal area outside the main square): 3 hours free with a parking disc

Arriving by bus and train

The Purkersdorf Zentrum railway stop is only 2 minutes’ walk away. Plan your journey by bus or train with the ÖffiPlaner (Austrian public transport planner) – for example, several times an hour in 13 minutes from/to Vienna Westbahnhof.
