Orange Season Ends: Take Your Last Chance

Oranges and tomatoes: last shipment

Next Monday, 2 June, we will end the season with the last shipment of oranges and tomatoes. If you would like to enjoy our products one last time before the end of the season, we advise you to place your order as early as possible. We will carry out the shipments with the same care as throughout the whole season.

We would like to take this opportunity to express our sincere thanks for the trust you have placed in us. It has been a great pleasure to offer you our fresh, first-class products over the past months.

We wish you all the best in everything you do and hope to welcome you back to our online shop at the start of the next season this coming October.

In the meantime, we will be happy to hear from you with your questions or other wishes. We are glad to help you as far as we can.

Joint ordering through (supra-)regional supply

On a voluntary basis, we are building alternatives to the existing corporate and industrial supply chain:

Get in touch

People in a region join forces, record their needs for goods and services (monthly, for example) and agree their requirements with ethically operating producers, traders and service providers, with call-offs that are as even as possible and optimised for transport.

We then order for many people on a single customer account and have the orders delivered directly to you or to the regions, where they are distributed further. This means less work for the supplier, who has only one customer account to manage and fewer invoices, but a larger order volume. In the regions, people come together, talk to each other again and, by pooling small separate orders, also enjoy better prices per kilo (for example with 20 kg packs).

In the 2022/2023 season we ordered a tonne of citrus fruit from “Orangen frisch nach Hause” in this way and were rewarded at the end of the season with a 5% discount on all orders.

Individual orders from Valencia

Exact availability, prices, varieties and shipping information can be found in the product overview. As part of the (supra-)regional supply project we can offer the prices direct from the plantation at a slight discount, with no delay and direct delivery to you.

Product overview

For years we have pointed to direct shipping from Ruth Palomero’s plantation in València, Spain. Depending on the season, you can order oranges, tomatoes, lemons, mandarins or avocados there directly from the plantation by parcel service, without intermediaries. It hardly gets fresher or more convenient. We have no financial interest in orders; we simply like to recommend it.
