We are still working. Thank you for your support.
We are living through an uncertain, unsettled and above all sad time.
A time that will go down in history as the worst health crisis of the last 100 years. It is frightening to think of the social crisis that could follow.
First of all, I would like to let you know that our whole team is healthy, and to thank you for the kind enquiries we have received from many of you. We have the best customers in the world! Fortunately, our region has not been hit as hard by Covid-19 as other regions in Spain. The hospitals near us are not overloaded, and it looks as though we have now reached the peak of the curve of new infections.
Because of the nature of our company, whose activity is classed as essential – like any other activity in the food sector – our team continues to work so that our oranges reach all our customers. To do so, we follow the health authorities’ recommendations in our workplace. Nevertheless, from now on we will ship fruit only once a week to reduce the risk, namely on Mondays, unless the weather prevents it.
At moments like these it is especially moving to see the human kindness of the majority of society. María José Fenollar, a woman on our team who is also a seamstress, and my mother have sewn a face mask for everyone on our team. In a nearby industrial hall, volunteers are making protective screens for those workers who are still at their workplaces, and they have given us some of them too, to make our work easier. These days the news also constantly shows us behaviour that expresses the greatness of humanity when it is really needed.
As you know, I like to be in direct contact with our customers, and that is why I wanted to let you know how we are doing here in this crisis. At the same time, I wish all of you, your families and friends all the best, and I ask you to be even more careful.
Orangen frisch nach Hause
Order now
We would like to point you to direct shipping from Ruth Palomero’s orange plantation in València. There you can order oranges and mandarins directly from the farmer to your home, without any middlemen. It (almost) doesn’t get any fresher or more convenient. We gain nothing financially from orders. We are simply happy to recommend it.
