WINGS – news and Open House invitation for 23 May
The WINGS learning community is proud and happy about its success in the NMS exams.
On 27 April, 16 pupils passed the external exam of the NMS (Neue Mittelschule, Austria’s lower secondary school). We are grateful to our examining school above all for letting us appear as a group: everyone carries the group and everyone is carried by the group. That is WINGS!
Of course, the children write their own written papers and present their own portfolios. But our joint presentations in English (the round of introductions), maths and parts of speech (across German and English) lasted more than three hours. The whole exam ran to over six hours.
The individual presentations also merged into a group presentation, as the children presented their posters to three teachers at the same time. So much respect, appreciation and inspiring feedback as we received recharges our batteries and lifts us to conquer the next heights!
Tomorrow, 18 May, the primary school (VS) exam is still to come. After that, on 23 May, we can all celebrate exuberantly at our Open House!
