33 WINGS learners successfully pass their external examinations

Just after the second semester had begun, the corona shutdown threw WINGS' semester schedule into disarray. Fortunately, WINGS director Genia Lackey had sensed what was needed before the school year began and had put together a wide range of online courses.

The WINGS learners started the new semester with a studio day. They are leaving an eventful half-year behind them, with visits from Andrej Karimov, workshops on fairness by Gesine Otto and a talk by Walter Doleschall on the secrets of water according to Masaru Emoto.

WINGS education offers for young and old

We started the new school year at Lake Allentsteig on 9 September. The "Waldviertel Integrative and Holistic School Initiative" – WINGS for short – supports home-educating families throughout Austria. Networking takes place online via video conferences, chats, newsletters and so on.

WINGS will soon be starting its fifth year! When I was thinking about founding a school back then, I was very busy finding a suitable model for accompanying young people. I was looking for methods that would support the development of their potential, suit the way the brain works and make learning joyful and effective.

WINGS – news and Open House invitation for 23 May

The WINGS learning community is proud and happy about its success in the NMS exams. On 27 April, 16 pupils passed the external NMS exam. We are grateful to our examining school above all for letting us appear as a group: everyone carries the group and everyone is carried by the group. That is WINGS!
