And that for a whole year? The non-profit organisation “Mein Grundeinkommen” (My basic income) is trying it out and on 10 November is holding an internet TV show with a live draw of 27 unconditional basic incomes worth a total of 324,000 euros.

The guest is the politician and author Marco Bülow. The former SPD member of the Bundestag is convinced (see the quotation above).

Driven by the question of how we as a society want to live in the future, the young NGO is experimenting with new forms of self-organisation and collective leadership (holacracy) and, together with the German Institute for Economic Research (DIW), is studying the unconditional basic income according to scientific standards in the world’s first civil-society pilot project (German).
