A lasting economy powered by the sun is possible
The citizens’ energy transition is the key to success for all of humanity.
It would be a grave disparagement of developing countries not to allow them to share in a higher quality of life through the energy transition. Economic growth and the energy transition are NOT a contradiction but precisely THE spark for a lasting, sustainable economic upturn of a kind that has never existed in this form since humanity began.
Precisely in order to make social prosperity possible for EVERY person, and to expand and maintain it, renewable energies together with a far-reaching change of system are indispensable as THE engine of the economy.
Clinging to all the old structures, as well as to the ever scarcer fossil and above all nuclear resources, can never allow the economy to carry on as before, if only because of the limited supply. This is an inescapable fact.
Climate protection, regional cycles, a lastingly peaceful economy without wars over resources, and affordable energy for all then follow from this change of system by themselves.
How anyone can achieve complete energy independence can be seen at the Hollerfest at the LFS Tulln.
