Autarkie & Me • Episode 11 • Expensive Energy
11th broadcast of “Autarkie & Me” – expensive energy
In the eleventh episode, Gerhard Pellegrini and Roberto Reuter talk with gottfried herrmann about the advantages and disadvantages of uncontrollable renewable energy. How far can renewable energy be economical? Is today’s energy demand necessary for a good life? How could we rethink? What options are there for obtaining new forms of energy?
Topic: “Expensive electricity – who needs it anyway?”
Under this somewhat sarcastic heading, the Society for Self-Sufficiency (GAIA) has been dealing with energy and its “free” availability since it was founded in 2011. Over all these years it has come into contact with numerous people and organisations who became known for their prototypes for continuous energy generation. These include many rotating devices that use magnetism. New static converters such as neutrinovoltaics are also promising. According to plan, this technology will soon be field-tested with numerous participants and members…
