Celtic history & WINGS: a book handover

At the beginning of October 2018 we successfully brought WINGS and the Norischer Verlag together.

On the initiative of GAIA members, the Noric publisher Nemeton Eula handed over several copies of “Grundlagen der keltischen Kultur” (Foundations of Celtic culture) to the association WINGS (Waldviertler INtegrative und Ganzheitliche Schulinitiative – Waldviertel Integrative and Holistic School Initiative). The books deal with Austria’s Celtic history.

The Waldviertel Integrative and Holistic School Initiative, led by Genia Lackey, places the holistic, intellectual and moral development of the personality, and the unfolding of people’s creative potential for the good and joy of their fellow human beings and of nature, at the centre of its activities.

The Noric publisher Nemeton Eula works in the field of culture and history, with a particular focus on the Celts and above all on the Celtic kingdom of Noricum.

The book Grundlagen der keltischen Kultur (German) is a basic introduction to Celtic culture. Its focus is on Celtic history, the Celtic calendar and the ancient Celtic world view. The first part – history – deals with European and Celtic history, with an emphasis on the Celts in Austria, as well as with the Celtic nations and languages of today. The second part – calendar – deals with the Celtic calendar and the traditional Celtic festivals of the year. The third part – world view – covers the Celtic druids, their teachings and the Celtic world view.

The books of the Norischer Verlag are also available on the GAIA marketplace (German). Anyone interested in the Celts or in Austrian history can buy numerous books there:
