Congress review: "Die grosse Transformation" (The great transformation)
A varied congress and an organisational tour de force earns wide recognition.
From 2 to 4 October 2020, Inge and Adolf Schneider invited participants to the Holiday Inn in Stuttgart for the congress “Die grosse Transformation” (The great transformation). More than 280 people were offered a very demanding programme. We were there too.
The “Schneider congresses” have been a fixture for people interested in alternatives for many years. The first conference, entitled “Energie und Schöpfung” (Energy and creation), took place in 1988. Since then, 63 more major events have followed. Hats off, Inge and Adolf. What is more, every congress is unique and leaves its mark on its guests. We can only imagine your commitment and your work in this context. Let us hope that the 64th congress remains the only one with compulsory masks. A unique memory, too.
In terms of content, numerous speakers presented a varied programme, and here and there the organisers even added presentations and discussions, so that a few unannounced guests also got some attention. Thank you for the relaxed and uncomplicated atmosphere.

Despite difficult circumstances, a varied congress with many speakers came together in Stuttgart, and the spontaneous changes to the programme did not throw the experienced Schneiders off course. Alongside the event, there were also many interesting contacts and in-depth conversations with other participants.

For our part, we contributed the events surrounding InfinitySAV, the status of the project with Muammer Yildiz and an outlook on the subject of hydrogen. We may be able to add a video for members later; we are asking about it in any case. With the pictures here we want to give a small impression of our talk at the congress. A detailed report will follow in NET-Journal 11/12 2020 – a subscription is recommended.
