Fresh tomatoes with designation of origin

Once again this year we can offer a delicacy from our home region.

Raf tomatoes with the designation of origin El Perelló. El Perelló is a small village 12 km from Cullera, by the beach and entirely within the Albufera nature park (Parc Natural de l’Albufera). The tomatoes are well known in Valencia. They have an excellent and intense flavour, which they get from the sandy soil with its high salt content in which they are grown.

We send them to your home, freshly harvested as always and without any kind of post-harvest treatment.

Our German customers can order tomatoes from El Perelló from now on, in the quantities offered of 4.3, 8.6 or 12.9 kg. You can also choose to order oranges as well, which makes shipping cheaper. For ecological and economic reasons we ship the tomatoes until mid-June, because after that you will have tomatoes from growing areas closer to you in your own country.

Shipments always take place on Mondays to shorten the transport time to your home. The tomatoes are harvested on the Monday morning itself, at a degree of ripeness that allows them to arrive ready to eat. If you keep them cool, they will stay in perfect condition for up to a week.

The first shipment takes place next Monday, 10 May 2021. We hope you enjoy the tomatoes of our home region as much as we do here.

For years we have been pointing to direct shipping from Ruth Palomero’s plantation in València. There you can order oranges and mandarins directly from the farmer to your home, without any middlemen. It (almost) doesn’t get any fresher or more convenient. We gain nothing financially from orders. We are simply happy to recommend it.
