Literature showcase: "Der Corona-Staat"
An interview by Peter Klein for the organisation “People for Love and Freedom (PFLAF)”
“Corona-Staat: Wo Recht zu Unrecht wird, wird Menschlichkeit zur Pflicht” (The Corona State: where law becomes injustice, humanity becomes a duty) is the title of Dr Alexander Christ’s newly published book. In the “Literature showcase”, the founder and managing director of the Berlin-based “LCP Rechtsanwaltsgesellschaft mbH” gives an insight into the motives and background behind the writing of his book. In conversation with Peter Klein, he explains how, from today’s perspective, he classifies – both legally and ethically – the actions and measures of the executive, the legislature and the judiciary in Germany, as well as the role of the media, the so-called “fourth estate” in the state.
In addition, the lawyer, journalist, political scientist and press spokesman of “Anwälte für Aufklärung (AfA)” (Lawyers for Enlightenment) looks back on his personal experiences in campaigning for people’s freedoms and civil rights in the course of the “corona crisis”. He also outlines political and structural developments in and around the judiciary in Germany and worldwide, as well as the consequences and dangers arising from them.
