ORF magazine Konkret | "4 Wände – 4 Hände" pays a visit

A detached house with no mains electricity and no connection to the sewer system – that used to exist, but who still wants that today?

A builder in the Weinviertel does. The knowledge of how something like this can work comes from within the family, because his father is a pioneer of renewable energy and self-sufficiency.

From now on until the summer, the construction of our self-sufficient plus-energy house, without sewer or mains electricity connection, will be followed by ORF 2 in the magazine “Konkret” every Tuesday from 6.30 pm.

There will hardly be any building services in the house. With only the simplest measures, the house supplies itself with heat, electricity and fuel for the electric car.
