Retrospective: Lungau get-together in August

Perhaps it was meant to be that emotions ran high at the GAIA evening in July on the subject of foreigners.

Nevertheless, it prompted one of the evening’s guests to give us a wonderful gift: an account of how she deals with negativity. This gift has been and is now being put into practice in the way the evenings are shaped from now on.

On 7 August the topic was climate change / the climate lie. That is certainly a “hot” topic as well. Partly in order to respect the freedom of choice of those present, contrasting information was simply presented (mainstream and “conspiracy theory”*)). Those present were then free to form their own opinion from the information on offer. This actually worked wonderfully and also helped to strengthen the special spirit that prevails at the meetings: everyone is fully respected in their own way and with their own views, and receives everyone’s full attention when they speak. All views are acknowledged without disparaging criticism, and differences of opinion are discussed objectively.

Before the main topic was dealt with, information from the GAIA news was shared on the harmfulness of coffee, on “Seeing without eyes” seminars, the dangers of genetically modified plants, the “economically driven need to make everyone ill” and on frequency therapy.

The invitation forwarded to us by Hans Hirsch to take part in the opening meeting of a new GAIA group in Krieglach (Styria) in October was passed on. Hans attended our evenings for years and now wants to start a GAIA group in his home municipality too.

The fact that the computer had difficulties loading the contributions on the subject of climate meant that the usual snack could be enjoyed earlier ;)
