Annual review and my thanks
The 2019 annual celebration had some remarkable aspects.

The get-together on 5 November was remarkable in several respects. It took place in the district capital, in the building where cultural life in the Lungau is planned and organised.

The meeting was marked by a very friendly, comradely atmosphere.

Retrospective: GAIA evening on 3 September
An unusual evening. Because the owners of the room we normally use needed it themselves, the September GAIA get-together took place at the Haus für Wirtschaft, Arbeit und Bildung in Tamsweg. It was held jointly with the Bildungsverbund Lungau, and the main topic was health: how problems in the musculoskeletal system arise and how we can heal them through our own activity.

That's it again
At the request of those who attended the evening in July, the topic of 5G was discussed on Tuesday, 6 August.

Our GAIA get-together on 2 July in the Lungau
This evening proved that interesting and convivial need not be mutually exclusive. Both applied to the evening, which was satisfyingly well attended despite the holiday season. The discussions were highly factual and enriched by the participants' extensive knowledge.

Retrospective: Lungau get-together in January
There is so much to do: raising awareness about the threatening plans of short-sighted greedy people, about noticeable and perceptible developments, information about ways of protecting health, exposing large-scale lies and much more. The GAIA evenings are meant to convey what would be best to do for the good of as many people as possible, if not everyone.

It's an open secret: we are living in a time of upheaval. Either we decided it ourselves or the Creator assigned it to us that we are incarnated at the end of the Kali Yuga and at the beginning of the new Golden Age. Only a few decades ago we were lulled into a false sense of security. We lived with all the outrages that have existed for a very long time without having any idea of them.

There is something to be said for being able to meet like-minded people regularly. All the more so when we can talk about events and facts that lie far beyond empty gossip.

The partnership works
Every third Wednesday of the month, the COEMM groups in Udine hold their "salotto", a meeting to exchange ideas, reflect, discuss and take action. This time the setting and the programme were different from usual.

"Water rescue" … matters to many
Not the volunteer organisations that serve their fellow human beings, but the rescue of water itself. Ignorance about water is widespread, and its innermost secrets are still far from fully researched. It is much more than the tasteless base of many drinks.

My short trip to Estonia
A good 4,300 km took me to the north-east of Europe – and safely back again. Impressions of the drive through six countries and of a few days in Narva, on Estonia's border with Russia.

Perhaps it was meant to be that emotions ran high at the GAIA evening in July on the subject of foreigners. Nevertheless, it prompted one of the evening's guests to give us a wonderful gift: an account of how she deals with negativity.

Meeting with the COEMM regional group in Udine
I am glad to pass on the most important events from the last meeting with the members of COEMM group 5 in Udine. After a long and eventful day, and at 30 degrees, it is hard for me to understand everything, especially when people speak in the Friulian dialect.

Retrospective: Lungau get-together in July
The topic was "meeting people from other countries and cultures", and the evening was once again well attended. This time, however, it did not go as planned.
