Scholé News – February 2023
February 2023. A thaw in the collective field.
Structures frozen in the icy cold of a loveless world are beginning to dissolve. With them, the apparent certainties to which freezing humanity has clung for so long are melting away too. Authorities can no longer be relied on, the “Western values” and the quality media have turned out to be illusions, science has lost its innocence, children and teachers are running away from the schools, technical progress is revealing its totalitarian face. Politics and the economy are being swept away by the unexpectedly rising meltwater. Nothing can be planned any more, nothing can be relied on, every day brings new challenges.
Many are still frozen in the role of victim, but the sun of unconditional love is rising higher and higher. Under its warming rays, individuals are beginning to free themselves from the ice armour of fear-induced paralysis and to flow with life without resistance. Thawed people change into a completely different state of matter. They feel separate and yet connected to everything and bound back to the source of all life – a feeling that seems both strange and familiar to them. Didn’t they experience it once before, at the beginning of their lives, in the womb? Yes, even if they may have forgotten it in the meantime, the oceanic feeling of security and well-being while growing in the warm amniotic fluid has remained stored in every one of their cells. It only needed to be unlocked again.
In Ukraine and Russia, people who have withdrawn from the dark rule of fear and turned towards the light of unconditional love are called “PEOPLE written in capital letters”. Some are born that way and stay that way; others have only won back this state through long struggles and suffering. In any case, PEOPLE in capital letters can be recognised by the fact that they need neither security measures nor dogmas nor rigid rules to hold on to. Anyone who has become sovereign no longer needs an external protecting power. Anyone who feels connected to everything no longer feels any need to belong to groups that set themselves apart from other groups.
Among people in small letters, however, the attitude of their fellow citizens who have mutated into PEOPLE often goes down very badly. Isn’t it an immutable law of nature that one’s own family always comes first? As a citizen, don’t you have a duty to decide for one party and thus against all the others? Shouldn’t rule-breakers who oppose majority decisions be called to order and punished if they continue to behave without solidarity? Hasn’t it always been necessary to repel dangerous attackers by force? Isn’t it selfish to claim rights of freedom when the highest authorities call on everyone to sacrifice their personal freedom for a lofty common goal?
The fact that most people believe the division into “we, the good” and “you, the bad” is natural, normal, even “without alternative”, has formed the basis of all systems of rule for thousands of years. Without enemy images, the rulers could neither win nor maintain their privileged position as a supposed protecting power. So they keep coming up with new justifications for supposed protective and defensive measures against visible or invisible enemies, skilfully mixing facts with opinions, lies and half-truths.
It was surely no different in the past, but over the last hundred years armies of behavioural psychologists, trained at the most renowned universities, have developed subtle methods of influencing human thinking unnoticed. Apparently with great success: even when they are asked to accept things that they themselves would have thought impossible not long ago, you hear highly educated, rational people sighing in resignation today: “Well, we all just have to get through it! No one is spared, it’s always been like that!”
Mocked and smiled at by the “normal” people, many new ways of liberating the human spirit have, at the same time, been discovered and developed over the past decades. Countless forms of meditation, shamanic techniques and energetic therapies are used worldwide. They all fulfil the task of leading people out of the cold, dark prison of their manipulable intellect into the living warmth of their unerring feelings and the free expanse of their spirit. The variety of methods caters for the diversity of individual needs and possibilities: today everyone can pick from an abundant range whatever suits them best at the moment.
Personally, yoga meditation and constellations helped me to get beyond thinking and to experience a WE feeling that had previously seemed unattainable to me. As a child, at the convent school, I constantly heard from the nuns that we Christians were all brothers and sisters, but in fact they modelled the exact opposite. The more highly educated among them, whom we had to call “Mother”, looked down haughtily on the more simply dressed nuns, who were called “Sisters”. They were responsible for the heavy, dirty work in the house and garden, sat right at the back in church, and when I saw how humbly they bowed when one of the “Mothers” walked past them without a greeting, my heart ached.
Later I studied a whole series of religions and ideologies that also preached the brotherhood and sisterhood of all people. But the few individuals behind whose words and deeds real warm, heartfelt love could be felt were regarded as black sheep there too, or had already left their group.
So how great was my surprise when, at the end of the second family constellation of my life, I unexpectedly felt the need to hug a dozen complete strangers, to whom at that moment I felt closer than to my oldest friends. Suddenly it was there, the deep feeling of true sisterhood and brotherhood that I hardly dared to believe in any more… Of all places here, in a group unfamiliar to me! I would never have expected it: after the first constellation I would have liked to run away. The emotional theatre unfolding before my astonished eyes made me deeply uneasy. Only when I had to give up my role as spectator in the second round, because another participant was urgently needed, did I experience for the first time the miracle of the deepest connectedness through an invisible field.
I had apparently left my usual small everyday personality on my chair like a piece of clothing, because as soon as I stepped into the field I entered a state of pure awareness. Guided by the shared concern to find a good solution to the serious problem of the young woman for whom the constellation was being held, I, like all the other representatives, suddenly perceived connections and said things that went far beyond my intellect. And then the miracle happened: all these people, whom I had not even liked shortly before, I suddenly felt to be wholeheartedly beloved brothers and sisters…
This experience had been preceded by a longer phase of turning inwards, during which I meditated regularly. That had given me access to the sacred space within me where until then I had been alone with the Creator. But now this inner space expanded into a boundless field in which there was room for everything – acquaintances and strangers, the living and the dead, objects and spirit beings, past and future, security and freedom – everything, except limits or fixed groupings!
I owe to constellation work my first encounter with what I would today call the “flowing WE”. Not only every living being but also every word has its own energy field, which I as a free person can enter and leave again – as simply and naturally as I change roles in constellations.
The flowing WE is constantly forming anew. It lets PEOPLE come together so that they can achieve goals that can only be achieved together. Between phases of activity it repeatedly requires phases of leisure for heart and mind, in which the individual returns fully to themselves and their cosmic all-connectedness. The flowing WE allows everyone to develop further, to change their positions, to change jobs, to part ways, to find new friends and to leave old circles of friends without having to give up their loving connection with them.
In the flowing WE I experience that I as an individual, like society as a whole, am in constant flux. Only my intellect keeps trying to pin me down to a personality narrowly defined by origin, age, gender and so on, filters my memories, assigns me certain roles and wants to decide which groups I should join and which not. In reality I grow and change in every moment; that is the law of life. The flowing WE lets me recognise the cemented WE, with all its protective border fences, as an illusion.
Beyond the dictatorship of the intellect, I am allowed to expand without limits and to experience myself more and more as pure awareness in the self that observes without intention, carried by the source of all being. Every individual who opens up to this joyful experience becomes a PERSON in capital letters and thereby contributes to the epochal change the Earth is currently undergoing. That is why I wish for all of us that we gratefully welcome the current thaw, however many meltwater mudslides, mud and dirt it may bring…! I can perceive very clearly how strongly the rising sun of unconditional love is already shining and warming when I connect inwardly with the many, many PEOPLE all over the world. Try it!
With delicate green early-spring greetings Alexandra
2nd edition of “Lernen ist wie Atmen” (Learning is like breathing)

The 2nd edition of our book meets a completely changed readership.
In 2017, the idea that learning outside school was possible at all was considered the eccentric notion of a few outsiders. Since then, all parents, whether they wanted to or not, have had to deal with forms of learning outside school.
The number of children withdrawn from school has exploded since then, and alternative learning projects are springing up like mushrooms.
