Seven days without electricity – DOK1

Hanno Settele wants to find out: what happens if the whole country suddenly goes dark?

For DOK 1 he dares the experiment and plays through the emergency: a week of blackout.

On Monday the lights go out in his flat, followed by days without food supplies, without the protection of the emergency services, without functioning infrastructure, many hours of psychological strain and loneliness, and six nights of darkness. On Sunday, when society is on the verge of collapse, the electricity fortunately comes back.
