Experiences from the jungle of Peru, Indian Vedic mathematics and much more are his basis for demanding and promoting a revolution of the school system.

For an entertaining three and a half hours, the multi-award-winning documentary “Herr Bachmann und seine Klasse” (Mr Bachmann and His Class) follows a teacher and his class through their unusual everyday school life. The starting point of the film was “open-ended observation and an unprejudiced encounter” with the pupils, says director Maria Speth – and she has created a masterpiece.
