The Self Explorer's Handbook
The book describes philosophy, science, technology and their applications in social life.
Originally written in English by the Dutchman Caspar de Rijk, this book was published in German by Morawa last autumn as „Handbuch zur Erforschung des Selbst“. The author studied psychology at Utrecht University in the Netherlands until 1972. By then he had had enough of the “behaviourist focus” that prevailed at the time – the denial and ignorance of the spiritual – and began to look for other sources. He read everything he could in the field of philosophy and the science of consciousness, including the great wisdom traditions of the East.
The book lists 50 sources consulted. This led to the idea of “Multi Genius Technology for Consciousness”.
That is also the title of the series the author is working on, of which the current book, The Self Explorer’s Handbook, is the first volume.
De Rijk, a spiritual counsellor and life coach with more than 40 years of experience, wrote down the essence of what he had learnt in thousands of hours of confidential dialogue with many people.
Some of these sessions were therapeutic, but most of the time was spent with people who were above all interested in exploring the depths of the mind and, of course, their past lives.
About the author Caspar de Rijk
He says his greatest good fortune is that he was allowed not only to catch a glimpse of, but also to experience a great many of the condensed lessons these individuals had learnt over their entire lives. By listening to these people’s life stories, adventures, mishaps, tragedies and happy moments, as well as their inspirations, wisdom and insights, he came to regard each one of them as a unique universe. In sessions it was discovered that imagination is the most powerful tool for helping to open up previously hidden memories, and with them the past, for an individual. Yet imagination can achieve far more in the creative realm. It opens up not only the past and the future, but infinity itself. How this works and how it is done in practice is described in detail in the book.
De Rijk is also the founder of the MGT Institute for the exploration of consciousness, which supports and trains all those who explore their own self and being as such in the various techniques. See www.mgtconcepts.org & www.mgt-bewusstsein.com (German)
Since December 2018 the book has been available on the GAIA marketplace in both English and German.
