New education landscapes – shaped with us

We are Alexandra and Marion, two education pioneers from Austria. Together with many others, we are creating new education landscapes. Because every person is unique. That is why there is a need not for just one educational path, but for many: paths on which children can discover themselves, take on responsibility and develop their unique abilities and talents.

Not through pressure, but through attraction

We have been living this with our families for years. We pass on our experiences and insights to others – not through pressure, but through attraction.

Over the last five years, a great deal has come into being in Austria, on a voluntary basis and step by step. We work with the Reifegradreflexion (maturity-level reflection), connect families and education initiatives with one another, and support places of learning and institutions in their development.

We are also contributing to a long-term education study that investigates which educational paths lead to which educational successes. And we have gathered experience, including on the legal level, that still makes the way easier for other families today.

Many individual paths have become a network: a new education landscape that is growing.

Taking the next step with WirkWerk

Now is the moment to build on this. With our association WirkWerk, a place for free, self-directed learning and human development is also coming into being.

From there, we want to reach more families, support more places of learning and advance research together with the association EOLA. So that diverse educational paths in Austria do not remain the exception, but become a matter of course.

Not only families benefit from this. Businesses, too, need young people who think for themselves and take responsibility.
