SOLIDARITY is being misused. As I perceive it, this confuses people’s thoughts and feelings.

Out of SOLIDARITY with the vaccinated, the unvaccinated are supposed to have themselves injected with an experimental substance which has been shown to protect the vaccinated neither from illness nor from infection, but in many cases endangers their health or even their lives? For reasons of SOLIDARITY, old people are supposed to be visited as little as possible and have to die alone? Out of SOLIDARITY with the old, the young are supposed to do without oxygen, friends and exercise? How could such illogical, even absurd ideas take root in the heads of many millions of people?

Governments export weapons to war zones and then call on the people for private donations – yes, that’s right: out of SOLIDARITY with the victims of those murder weapons that were compulsorily financed, without asking, with the tax money of this very people! Most consumers of government-loyal mass media think this is right, even in a neutral country like Austria, which until now was proud of its role as mediator. Whenever a small minority takes to the streets and demands peace negotiations, it triggers a storm of indignation in our leading media. Activists who protest by peaceful means against further senseless destruction are seriously accused of extremism and a lack of SOLIDARITY. How could such a confusion of terms come about?

The word SOLIDARITY means: connected, responsible for one another, belonging together. It is therefore a secular expression for the theological concept of love of one’s neighbour. True SOLIDARITY is the core of the Christian message and links the New with the Old Testament, for there too the central commandment is: “You shall love the Lord your God, and your neighbour as yourself.” Love of God, love of neighbour and self-love form a unity; they are inseparably linked. No element of this trinity can exist without the other two.

The Judaic scholar Pinchas Lapide once explained that, translated correctly from the original Aramaic text, it should actually read: you WILL love your neighbour as yourself. For the commandment to love one’s neighbour is not a human law that one can obey or not. It is a divine law that is as immovable and universally valid as the law of gravity. The apple that comes loose from the branch is not SUPPOSED to fall to the ground; it WILL fall to the ground. This means that as long as I do not love myself, I CANNOT really love my neighbour at all. And what I do to my neighbour, I ultimately do to myself.

But self-love is not only the measure of love of neighbour, it is also the measure of love of God. The more I learn to love myself, the more strongly I perceive my connection with the mysterious power that so wonderfully created me and the whole universe and keeps it alive. How could I, in this state of connection with all fellow creatures, want to harm any of them?

Materialism has broken love of God out of the trinity and thereby automatically devalued self-love and love of neighbour as well. The guiding principle of materialists is the struggle for survival, Darwin’s “survival of the fittest”. On the materialist battlefield of survival, the law of the strongest applies. And where one person becomes a wolf to another, the weaker are happy to be persuaded that they need strong shepherds to protect them from the evil wolves. Without resistance they give up their freedom and gratefully join the flock, let themselves be locked up, fed, vaccinated – but also shorn and slaughtered. For the shepherds keep sheep as livestock. They promise them protection and security, but at the price of freedom and ultimately at the price of life…

The sheep must of course be distracted from this bitter truth at all costs. So over the millennia their shepherds, who like to be celebrated as God’s representatives on Earth, have developed a large arsenal of propaganda techniques whose common denominator is the most powerful adversary of love: FEAR. Fear of illness, death and external dangers, fear of one’s neighbour, fear of failing, of not being good enough, of having incurred guilt.

Guilt, which is not by chance also contained in the German word for DEBTS (Schulden), has proved to be a particularly effective propaganda instrument. The oppressive feeling of being guilty is the invisible whip with which the sheep flagellate themselves and so allow themselves to be kept small effortlessly. Not only our worldly rulers but above all our spiritual shepherds – pastors, popes, abbots and priests of all religions – have always known this and known how to use it. Someone burdened with guilt will not dare to raise his head self-confidently. Ashamed, he looks at the ground and so sees neither the barbed wire surrounding him, nor the slaughterhouse behind the protective stables, nor the free landscape beyond the fences…

But the shepherds are not free either. They are part of a complex hierarchy of under- and over-shepherds, and these in turn are evidently subordinate to super-rich stable owners who prefer to remain anonymous. The invisible whip of ambitious shepherds is perfectionism. An ambitious perfectionist knows neither self-love nor love of neighbour, for since he believes in no ordering higher power, he is under constant pressure to perform. Nothing and nobody is good enough for him – of course not even himself. In his youth he tries to learn as precisely as possible what is right and what is wrong. But since the perfectly right naturally always remains unattainable, the perfectionist compulsively directs his attention throughout his life to mistakes and problems, control measures and self-optimisation. Fame, money and power are the consolation for a life of constant dissatisfaction that is ultimately based on lies and self-deception.

Nature is never perfect. It knows no perfect right angles, no mathematically perfect curves or circles and no perfectly functioning living beings. Everything it brings forth is subject to the law of becoming and passing away, an endless and unstoppable process of transformation in which every stage of development has its very own beauty, everything its time and everything an expiry date.

Sooner or later, hopefully, the tech freaks will also have to take note of this, who with their megalomaniac perfectionism are destroying ever faster the nature they supposedly want to save. In their arrogance they seriously imagine that they will soon be able to reach the stage of transhumanism. Their best-known prophet, the historian Yuval Noah Harari, rhapsodises at length about Homo Deus, the technically optimised Homo sapiens who no longer needs a God in the beyond. By merging with the artificial intelligence of the computer, the transhumanists believe, they could finally break through the barriers of nature and attain physical immortality.

Here is a short taste of the vision of the future from the World Government Summit 2018 on the topic of education: “More and more people have an implant in their brain that makes them more intelligent than humans. Education as we knew it in past generations must be completely redesigned if it is to remain relevant. Children and adults must be trained in how to use their brain implants.” A critical observer will probably recognise in this above all the final loss of the wisdom that Homo sapiens at least partly still possessed :-) Incidentally, the road to Homo Deus is paved with corpses: with the victims of unjust distribution, poisoning of the mind and the environment, war, hunger, destruction of nature and targeted population reduction.

Much suggests that we have reached the end of a great cycle of human development and face an epochal decision: do we want to remain in the artificially created matrix of technical perfectionism? Or are we inwardly ready to switch finally into the boundless field of love, which awakening people are beginning to perceive ever more clearly behind the catastrophes currently taking place? The spiritual world respects human free will. Perhaps there really is a timeline on which, for followers of transhumanism, the STRUGGLE FOR SURVIVAL continues by means of sophisticated technologies? And another timeline on which people connected with God and nature may experience what it means to LIVE TOGETHER freely and self-determinedly in peace and true solidarity with all beings…?

I wish you confidence and joyful anticipation in stormy times! Alexandra

Vision of the future from 2018

NEW: 2nd edition of “Lernen ist wie Atmen” (Learning is like breathing)

The 2nd edition of our book meets a completely changed readership.

In 2017, the idea that learning outside school was possible at all was considered the eccentric notion of a few outsiders. Since then, all parents, whether they wanted to or not, have had to deal with forms of learning outside school.

The number of children withdrawn from school has exploded since then, and alternative learning projects are springing up like mushrooms.
