Scholé News – September 2022
This summer I didn’t want to speak up.
I withdrew into silence to get an overview of the chaos currently reigning outside. In nature, whether by the sea, in the forest or in the mountains, our hearts open – and, as we know, we can only perceive the true connections with an open heart.
Anyone who watches a tsunami wave from a great distance can roughly estimate its size and, above all, recognise the direction it is coming from. Wide-awake people of the heart, who had long been saying that after the pandemic and the war a huge wave of rising prices and inflation would be unleashed on the European population, were silenced by the mainstream by every means. Why? Because from a distance they could see clearly from which direction the wave is rolling in, who or what might have caused it – and who or what did not. The many who let themselves be lulled by the mainstream’s appeasement tactics and are now suddenly being overwhelmed by the force of this wave have no time left to ask about causes. In panic-stricken fear of drowning, they gratefully grasp at any straw that promises rescue.
Those who see with their hearts have long since found life rafts, where they are beginning to build new structures with like-minded people. What gives them the strength and courage, despite the atmosphere of catastrophe all around, to create new paths of education, new forms of community life, new financing options, new media, new art and music? The unshakeable conviction that the future lies in their hands.
A friend kindly forwarded me some newsletters from a student of Ra Uru Hu, the founder of Human Design. More than 30 years ago this visionary man predicted that in 2027 a fundamental change would occur in humanity’s collective field, whose effects exceed our current imagination. The individual messages my clients receive when they listen to their inner knowledge confirm this prediction: in very different ways, the inner voice is currently calling on everyone who wants to listen to courage, imagination and optimism, and holds out the prospect of peace, justice and abundance for us all. The common tenor of the many individual messages is: all will be well!
An even more tangible confirmation comes from the growing number of courageous pioneers who are joining forces to explore new ways – better ways – in all areas of our social life. From 15 to 18 September, the BETTER WAYS CONFERENCE, an international meeting of alternative journalists and bloggers, is taking place for the 2nd time in Vösendorf near Vienna. It is organised by Dr Maria Hubmer-Mogg, who became known at the beginning of the vaccination campaigns for children and young people through the campaign “Wir zeigen unser Gesicht” (We show our face) – and lost her previous job as a doctor. On Sunday, 18 September, the conference will end with a demonstration, talks and musical events on Heldenplatz. Further details as well as other interesting and encouraging information can be found at www.drhubmermogg.at (German)
Radio SOL provides another important platform for builders of a new world. On 26 September a KONFERENZ DER MENSCHEN (People’s Conference) begins there, the first live radio and online conference with an interactive citizens’ forum to join in, across the entire German-speaking region (Austria, Germany, Switzerland). Under the motto “Moving the world together – what is your message or initiative?”, everyone who feels addressed is warmly invited to take part as a guest, conference speaker, partner, sponsor or active participant in expert rounds (konferenzdermenschen.com (German)).
A round table on the topic of BAUSTELLE BILDUNG (education under construction) with Sigrid Haubenberger-Lamprecht of the Verein der Freilerner (free learners’ association), Gottfried Hermann of GAIA, the magician and now internationally active education activist Ricardo Leppe, Michael Karjalainen-Dräger, who for a long time presented a programme called “Nie mehr Schule” (No more school) on Radio Orange, the Radio SOL initiator and presenter Gerhard Pellegrini, an economic expert and me has already been recorded and is to be broadcast on 23 October.
We agreed that the new educational initiatives springing up everywhere like mushrooms have set a genuine renewal movement in motion that can no longer be stopped either. It is oriented towards the strengths and needs of children and not, like school, towards preserving the system and its bureaucracy. No futurologist can predict where this will ultimately lead. Only the children themselves probably sense where our world is heading – we can learn it from them if we listen to them very attentively and mindfully. I warmly invite you to do so and then, strengthened, to join in the many wonderful initiatives that are currently emerging!

NEW: 2nd edition of “Lernen ist wie Atmen” (Learning is like breathing)

The 2nd edition of our book meets a completely changed readership.
In 2017, the idea that learning outside school was possible at all was considered the eccentric notion of a few outsiders. Since then, all parents, whether they wanted to or not, have had to deal with forms of learning outside school.
The number of children withdrawn from school has exploded since then, and alternative learning projects are springing up like mushrooms.
