Neutrino Energy: billions on hold

Neutrino Energy: billions on hold

Neutrino Energy Group bets on leap innovation

After being blocked by compliance rules, the Neutrino® Energy Group, as the initiator of the leap innovations of neutrinovoltaics and self-charging Pi mobility concepts, has big ambitions. One billion euros of share capital is urgently waiting to be invested in Germany too. Excessive compliance rules had temporarily paralysed companies of the Neutrino Energy Group.

For months, the immense sum of over one billion euros has been sitting idle and blocked in the account of Neutrino Energy Property GmbH & Co. KG. These funds, intended for investment in research and development, have been frozen because of bureaucratic hurdles and excessive compliance regulations, which has considerably impaired the company’s business.

The German-American energy research company Neutrino Energy Group had cooperated with scientists from Russia, India and China, which prompted the banks to take overcautious measures. The narrow interpretations of the compliance rules made it almost impossible to transfer substantial investment sums from outside the EU to Germany. An unexpected insolvency petition by the Brandenburg finance ministry against the Neutrino company made the situation even worse.

The absurdity of the situation could hardly have been greater: on the one hand, sufficient funds were sitting in the account; on the other, there was the insolvency petition and an almost complete standstill due to temporary insolvency.

But now things are taking a turn for the better: the tax office’s insolvency petition has been withdrawn, although nothing had changed in the compliance-relevant facts and the research company had never had anything to do with the conflict between Russia and Ukraine.

“Like many other companies, we were simply victims of the situation. We have one billion euros in the account that we couldn’t get at until now,” says Holger Thorsten Schubart, CEO of the Neutrino Energy Group, describing the long seemingly hopeless situation. “On the one hand you have a lot of money, on the other hand no liquidity to pay the costs – the companies are stuck in a holding pattern.” Schubart questions the EU’s compliance policy in the wake of the war. “We have the necessary capital, we have a great concept, but Germany is not managing to support this leap innovation for the benefit of the country, with many possible new jobs, in such a way as not to lose valuable know-how and the future opportunities arising from it to other countries.”

German industry is bleeding out and will ultimately leave in frustration, because working conditions for entrepreneurs are being made harder instead of being supported, Schubart says, agreeing with the President of the Federation of German Industries (BDI), Siegfried Russwurm. Russwurm recently stressed that some industries would disappear from Germany altogether in the medium term. Schubart regrets how German industry is being badly affected by the confused global situation.

In the midst of these challenges, two major innovations of the Neutrino Energy Group stand ready that have the potential to revolutionise the future of energy supply and mobility: the Neutrino Power Cube and the Pi Car project.

The Neutrino Power Cube is a groundbreaking development in off-grid, 24/7 baseload-capable renewable energy supply. It uses the kinetic energy of elementary particles and other invisible radiation to provide a continuous supply of electricity. This compact, silent energy converter offers a reliable power source regardless of weather conditions or time of day, making it ideal for remote and underserved areas. With a permanent output of 5 to 6 kW, the Neutrino Power Cube can supply both households and small businesses, improving their autonomy and economic development through grid independence.

The Pi Car project, on the other hand, represents a new era of electric mobility. This self-charging vehicle uses neutrinovoltaic technology to charge itself continuously, collecting the constant radiation and energies of its surroundings with its bodywork and converting them into electrical energy. This means the vehicle can be operated independently of conventional charging stations, which not only increases range but also reduces dependence on fossil fuels and thus makes an important contribution to environmental protection. Since heat and temperature differences are also converted into electricity, this means generating up to 100 km of driving power at an outside temperature of 20 °C, even without light and even in complete darkness, and without needing a charging cable.

“My aim is to keep at least part of the business in Germany and to continue investing part of the money here,” says Schubart. “This concerns in particular the self-charging Pi concepts, such as the Neutrino Pi Car for e-mobility and Pi Fly for electric aircraft, as well as partial manufacturing for the future Neutrino Power Cube. I see a number of companies in Germany that could handle these tasks excellently, and we would also gladly provide our money for transforming or modifying their production facilities. That is easier and faster than building from scratch on a greenfield site. Highly qualified employees of existing companies could then be fully utilised again, instead of losing these manufacturing processes to other countries.”

With these groundbreaking technologies and the clear goal of strengthening innovation and industry in Germany too, the Neutrino Energy Group is sending a strong signal. Despite the hurdles of excessive compliance rules and political and economic challenges, the vision remains: a sustainable, independent energy supply and forward-looking mobility – made possible by the invisible, infinite power of the energies that surround us.
