NET8: Onboarding with OKX is taking shape

NET8: Onboarding with OKX is taking shape

After the end of the pre-sale, the integration is being implemented

With the pre-sale phase completed, our focus is turning to the technical implementation of the next steps towards final trading activation. This includes in particular the infrastructure through which users will access NET8 and use the planned trading functions.

We are currently implementing the technical integration and the interfaces with OKX. The systems and processes involved are being aligned with one another and prepared for the planned launch. This work lays the foundation for announcing the first trading pairs shortly. The announcement will follow as soon as the necessary technical checks and approvals have been completed.

What lies behind the technical integration

For a token to become accessible via a trading platform, several components have to work together reliably. These include integrating the blockchain network, processing token transfers and connecting to the planned trading functions. The current focus is therefore on the interfaces between NET8 and the OKX infrastructure. Information and transactions must be processed correctly via these interfaces.

Preparation is thus turning into concrete technical implementation. Our goal is to align the processes required for the launch and to create understandable access for users. Which trading pairs will be available first and when trading will begin will be published with the corresponding launch information as soon as the necessary approvals are in place.

Why OKX

neutrino net8 okx sujet 001 l4zn For us, a powerful technical infrastructure, international connectivity and understandable access are important prerequisites. In addition to its crypto exchange, OKX also offers a Web3 wallet and connections to various blockchain networks. These include the Solana ecosystem, on which NET8 is technically based. The ongoing integration work is intended to make these technical prerequisites usable for NET8. We are concentrating on the functions and connections needed for the next phase.

Exchange account and wallet: two different ways in

Anyone looking at OKX for the first time should distinguish between two areas:

  • The OKX exchange account provides access to the available exchange services. Depending on the region and activation, these include trading, deposits and withdrawals. Custody is provided by the provider.
  • The OKX Wallet provides access to blockchain applications and lets you manage digital assets yourself. Safeguarding the access keys and recovery data is the user’s responsibility.

Our accompanying onboarding guide will explain which access is needed for each NET8 function and how the individual steps work.

Use the current phase to get oriented

While we implement the technical integration, interested parties can already familiarise themselves with OKX. Anyone who knows the basic processes can concentrate on the NET8-specific functions at launch. Preparation includes, for example:

  • finding your way around the official platform,
  • registering and completing the identity verification required for exchange services,
  • activating additional security features,
  • getting to know the differences between exchange account and wallet,
  • a basic understanding of network addresses and token transfers.

Neither a deposit nor a purchase of NET8 is required to get to know the platform. We will publish the specific steps for NET8 together with the activation information.

The European framework

For our European audience, the regulatory set-up of the infrastructure partner is also relevant. OKX Europe Limited holds a MiCA licence from the Maltese financial regulator MFSA as a crypto-asset service provider. Which products and functions are available depends on the respective offering and on the user’s place of residence. The licence of the service provider must be distinguished from the regulatory classification of an individual token. NET8 remains an independent project within our Neutrino Energy ecosystem. With the technical integration, we are preparing access via an internationally established infrastructure.

Security is part of the implementation

Working access needs clear and reliable information. That is why we are accompanying the technical integration with concrete guidance on the planned processes.

We publish binding information on NET8 via our official communication channels. Information on the available OKX services should also be checked via the official OKX channels. The following points are particularly important for users:

  • use only official websites and applications,
  • use a strong password of your own and two-factor authentication,
  • never share recovery phrases or private keys,
  • only carry out NET8 transfers once deposits have been explicitly activated and the network and token address have been confirmed.

The first trading pairs are getting closer

The next steps build directly on the ongoing integration work: completing interfaces, checking processes and finalising the necessary approvals.

On this basis, the first NET8 trading pairs are to be announced shortly. With the announcement, we will also explain which functions are available at launch and which steps users need to take. We clearly distinguish between the announcement of the trading pairs and the actual start of trading. The respective dates and available functions will be part of the official launch information.

Conclusion: implementation of the next phase is under way

The technical integration of NET8 with OKX is currently being implemented. The focus is on the interfaces and processes intended to enable the planned access and the first trading functions. The next development phase is thus taking concrete shape. While we push ahead with the technical work, interested parties can get to know the platform and prepare their access. Our next communication step is the announcement of the first trading pairs as soon as the necessary checks and approvals are in place. Specific information on the launch and use will follow.
