Scholé news April 2021
I believe that today every person faces the fundamental decision between
heteronomy and self-determination: do I let things take their course and accept that multi-billionaires whom nobody elected take over the global reorganisation of every area of life? Do I naively trust ambitious politicians and international organisations that are largely financed by corporations? Am I really convinced that the salvation of humanity lies in an insufficiently researched vaccination (which will probably have to be boosted every few months in future)? Or do I want, as a free human being, to decide about my life and my health myself, and accept in return that I will find myself on the margins of society and have to say goodbye to many comforts I have grown fond of?
For more than a year, the corona crisis has forced us to grapple with very fundamental questions about life and death, safety and danger, democracy and the rule of law, freedom and personal responsibility, education and the welfare of children. That is not an easy task. Even the sometimes irreconcilable differences of opinion among family and friends are very stressful. Harder still to bear are the contradictions in one’s own thinking and feeling. Which of us would not like to decide once and for all against fear and for love?
And yet we keep falling back into fear. Why? Because we live in a traumatised society. Because almost all of us were badly hurt in our dignity as children and constantly suffer smaller or larger re-traumatisations. Emotional wounds caused by hardship, shaming, degradation, exploitation, war and xenophobia have been passed on from one generation to the next for thousands of years. They are in our genes. A spiral of violence runs through our entire culture. Shamed, degraded children will later unconsciously shame and degrade their own children. Again and again peoples have allowed themselves to be incited against each other and marched off to war waving flags.
The fight against the global pandemic also follows the logic of war. But this time there are no clearly recognisable front lines. The invisible enemy is omnipresent and hides behind our neighbour’s FFP2 mask. Everyone now endangers everyone. Even small children pose a threat to their grandparents’ lives. Politics stokes primal fears of illness and death in order to restrict citizens’ rights to freedom more and more. And conformist media play along. For the first time we really are in a world war, because this time not a single citizen of the Earth is spared the global crisis and its effects.
But where danger is, the saving power also grows, as the poet Hölderlin wrote: never before have there been so many individuals who no longer succumb to the mass suggestion of the warmongers but – each in their own way – stand up for peace, freedom and self-determination. What gives these people the strength to resist? What keeps them upright in the storm? How do they recognise one another? What connects them? What gives them hope and confidence?
My inner image of it looks like this: the dividing line between war and peace runs between the materialists, whose crown chakra is still closed, and the people with an open corona (crown), who are allowed to experience a higher, spiritual reality and can therefore see things from a bird’s-eye view. Materialists see the world from a frog’s perspective. For them life is a struggle for survival, because they cannot recognise larger connections. They are guided by human laws and fear of punishment. Spiritual people, on the other hand, sense or know that ultimately everything that happens has a meaning and that we are all subject to a higher cosmic law that is written in the heart of every human being, whatever their culture.
This cosmic law is often referred to as the hermetic (secret) law. The 8 rules of which it consists open up access to people’s inner knowledge and give them a self-awareness that makes them immune to manipulation and slavery. Anyone who wants to subjugate and exploit people must therefore replace the cosmic law of universal harmony with an ever-growing number of legal clauses in order to establish complex hierarchical orders and secure them with threats of punishment.
Particularly popular with power-hungry leaders is, of course, martial law, which allows them to restrict the freedom of their subjects even more arbitrarily. The new Infection Protection Act, which overrides hard-won basic democratic rights that were previously considered inviolable with a jumble of new provisions (supposedly, of course, in the service of public health), is a vivid current example of this wicked old tactic.
From the point of view of spiritual people, materialists are pitiable creatures. Because they are not aware of their spiritual greatness, they constantly fight for personal recognition and material gain. Because they do not know the interplay of body, soul and spirit, they lack the inner compass that would show them their individual path in life. So they either drift along without a will of their own, or they try to climb as high as possible in the hierarchy of power. Because they cannot perceive the order of love, in which every living being is safe and held across countless forms of existence, they struggle desperately to prolong their present physical existence by every means.
Precisely through its absurdity and the ever more obvious contradiction between the supposed benefit and the very real costs of the worldwide measures, the corona crisis offers the more than 7 billion people affected unprecedented opportunities to awaken from their materialistic trance. In their transformation from the materialistic caterpillar state into the free, self-determined butterfly state, a large host of spiritual beings of higher orders stands by the awakening people. They assure us that the long-awaited turning point of the age is in full swing and that its positive outcome is already certain.
This inspires the awakening people, who are now finding one another and connecting across continents. What unites them is their enthusiasm and their selfless, courageous commitment to the common good. The love that flows between them gives them joy and zest for life and the strength to stand by their truth, to protect their children, as artists not to let themselves be silenced, as doctors to feel obliged to protect their patients from possible harm, as researchers to put intellectual honesty above scientific renown, as lawyers to defend basic democratic rights, as grateful children of the Earth to celebrate and enjoy life fearlessly…
I wish you a good, challenging, liberating, exciting and joyful time of change! Alexandra
P.S.: Here is an overview of the cosmic laws that I would like to look at in more detail in the coming months:
- Everything, including matter, has arisen from SPIRIT
- Every effect has a cause
- As above, so below – microcosm and macrocosm mirror each other
- Resonance – like attracts like
- Harmony – breathing in and breathing out, taking and giving are in constant balance
- Everything is vibration, everything is in constant change
- Polarities (e.g. male and female) are a basic constant of the universe
- In addition, as the 8th law encompassing the other 7, there is LOVE, which manifests itself as CARE for all living things.
Now revised – “Lernen ist wie Atmen” (Learning is like breathing) as an eBook
Together with two unschooling mothers, Gudrun Totschnig and Sigrid Haubenberger, we published it ourselves and have now also made it available as an eBook.
We feel that, especially in this time of distance learning, experiences from unschooling can help people find their bearings. Let the reading sample inspire you, or buy the eBook as a PDF on the GAIA marketplace (the 10 % member discount applies here too). The book is in German.
