Scholé News October 2021
The coronavirus crisis has set an incredible amount in motion!
In recent months I have been so busy with enquiries and conversations about alternatives to school that I neglected my writing. The quintessence of these many conversations now brings me back to writing:
Every case is different, as unique as the people involved. But again and again I have witnessed how, quite unexpectedly, completely new solutions emerged as soon as those involved managed to free themselves from social habits and to put the well-being of their children before official regulations. Whoever follows the voice of their heart places themselves under the protection of the spiritual law of nature and creates a “landing place for miracles”. It helps to reflect on the Hermetic laws, for they are, as it were, the compass of the heart. The June news was about the first Hermetic law, EVERYTHING IS MIND. Today it is the turn of the next law:
EVERYTHING IS VIBRATION, EVERYTHING IS IN MOTION, IN CONSTANT CHANGE.
Whatever we do or leave undone, the world within and around us changes every moment, mostly slowly and imperceptibly, sometimes with a great fanfare. All our cells renew themselves without our doing anything, albeit at different speeds. Within 7 years, biologists have found, our whole body has been completely renewed. Our thoughts and moods also change incessantly, whether we want them to or not. For people who live in harmony with nature, this is a matter of course. They vibrate with the natural rhythms and so cannot be blackmailed by the fear of illness, old age and death. They know that all things have their time – youth and old age, joy and sorrow, farewell and new beginning. Life itself is eternal; it merely changes its form constantly, passing inexorably from one state into the next. Anyone socialised in our Western civilisation usually has a completely different view of the world. They have learned to perceive themselves as a separate personality that is defined – literally: delimited – by gender, origin, age, talents, level of education, profession, social position and so on. In this mechanistic civilisation, hostile to the spirit, the upbringing to become a functioning cog destroys very early on the natural connectedness with everyone and everything that the small child was still able to perceive. Each individual ultimately stands alone, and so fear becomes the basic feeling. Whoever looks with the eyes of a child will observe self-organisation and cooperation everywhere in nature. But modern man, split off from the greater whole, prefers to project his own competitive behaviour, driven by fear and greed, onto nature and declares Darwin’s idea of the “survival of the fittest” to be the guiding principle: each individual must scrap with everyone else for the supposedly limited, indeed ever scarcer, resources of the earth. And to channel this struggle for existence into reasonably orderly paths, ever more sophisticated laws and control mechanisms are of course needed.
The whole of modern existence is governed by a prison order, and modern man is his own prison governor

Michel Foucault
French philosopher
As early as 1980 he recognised as our central problem that people internalise and pass on, without resistance, the restrictions imposed on them by society. The extreme intensification of this problem in the course of the coronavirus crisis might perhaps bring about the turning point: many frogs have so far barely noticed the gradual rise in temperature in their familiar, beloved prison. But now the water has become so hot that they must overcome their fear of the unknown freedom if they want to survive.
In this situation, the eternally valid PRINCIPLE OF CHANGE might perhaps give the fearful frogs courage: nothing ever stays as it is, everything comes to an end, the most beautiful as well as the most difficult. Extended phases of – always only apparent – standstill are followed at some point by the turnaround, the phase transition into an entirely new, unknown state. Each individual contributes to it. From countless tiny, larger and large individual decisions, an incomparable new epoch is gradually taking shape. For history does not repeat itself. In the realm of the living there is no return to an earlier state.
Not even the devil, the pictorial embodiment of fear and greed, appears twice in the same disguise. If we think we can recognise him by the hammer and sickle or by the swastika and the yellow star, we are badly mistaken. Today’s devil works with a new promise of salvation: as Mister Global he has his eye on a thoroughly rationalised new order of the entire planet. Of course he is delighted when his existence is denied or when the media drape him in yesterday’s old costumes. For underneath them he can hide his deadly dangerous horns: the left horn is called security, the right horn convenience – or the other way round :-) Both security and convenience are truly devilish illusions that prevent us from continuing to grow with pleasure, without fear and pressure, according to the PRINCIPLE OF VIBRATION, from staying in motion and from bringing about desired changes ourselves instead of complaining about undesired ones.
The illusion of security makes us all the more fearful the more we have already sacrificed for our security. In video-monitored houses, behind doors with expensive security locks, sit double- or even triple-vaccinated contemporaries who compulsively keep their distance, wear a mask even alone in the car, constantly follow the latest incidence figures in the media, have cut off all contact with the unvaccinated and yet live in constant fear of infection. Fearless people who meet and hug without masks and vaccination provoke outrage among the apostles of security, and the official narrative condemns these people as selfish endangerers, as social pests who should be excluded from the community. The resulting division of the population is hypocritically lamented by those in power, but in truth it is fuelled by every means, according to the tried and tested motto: divide and rule!
What the security mania has successfully set up, convenience completes. As soon as quiet doubts begin to rise in the minds of the victims of the information war – a brief impulse to use other sources of information or to talk to people who have had other experiences – convenience stays their hand: surely you don’t want to risk your comfortable place in the democratic majority? These critics of the measures who babble about fundamental rights and freedom of choice are all cranks, nutters and conspiracy theorists! Think how you would look in front of your friends if you listened to them! And surely you don’t seriously want to take on the Sisyphean task of researching for yourself whether statistics were manipulated or what is really in these vaccines? If there were really anything to the critics’ arguments, you would have learned it from the reputable quality media long ago!
Buddhists call fear and greed for power or wealth hungry ghosts that are never satisfied. We must not condemn people who have fallen prey to the hungry ghosts. Instead we should observe their fates very critically and closely in order to see through the mechanisms of delusion to which we, too, are exposed at every turn. Apart from the few enlightened ones, there are only differences of degree between us. Both in the life of the individual and in the life of society, however, at some point the point is reached at which the danger of sliding down completely into the lowlands of the hungry ghosts has been averted. The intellect cannot recognise this point, because outwardly so much continues to go wrong, there is still so much need and suffering. But the voice of the heart is not led astray by externals. If we listen to it, we can perceive that all the changes now under way, the dreadful as well as the wonderful, serve a common goal. What is in preparation is an epochal change in human consciousness.
Some say that through our daily decisions we are heading towards two opposite timelines: on one timeline the intellect dominates – it sees problems everywhere, wants to bring everything unpredictable and natural under its control, dreams of global solutions, constantly invents new laws and promotes its claims to power with the promise of security and convenience, shrinking from no lie.
On the other timeline reigns the divine law of nature that is written into all our hearts. This law lets us perceive our connectedness with everyone and everything, so that we need no further laws. When we reach this timeline, we will realise that EVERYTHING IS VIBRATION. And with that we gain the freedom to explore, joyfully and playfully like children, the infinite possibilities that lie within our minds.
Colourful autumn greetings Alexandra
