Seeds of the new

In the Upper Palatinate in Bavaria, a project is taking shape that deserves a closer look, because it gives courage

Just as the imaginal cells of a caterpillar anticipate its transformation into a butterfly, projects are currently emerging in which a better world takes shape.

The fact that there may soon be further projects with overlapping goals makes it all the more exciting. A short morning session at this year’s Rubikon authors’ meeting, which was devoted to alternative ways of living, seems to be turning into reality faster than expected. A multitude of such ways of living and working would then form a whole network – and thus a world we like. This report by Daniel Sandmann shows that such ideas do not simply float on clouds but can even be the subject of a scientific master’s thesis. It is expected to be followed by further articles from authors of the Rubikon editorial team who were also there and are dealing with the project and the topic in one way or another.

Newly revised: “Lernen ist wie Atmen” (Learning is like breathing) as an eBook

Lernen ist wie Atmen – eBook cover

Together with two free-learning mothers, Gudrun Totschnig and Sigrid Haubenberger, we self-published it and in 2020 also made it available as an eBook.

We feel that, especially in this time of distance learning, experience from free learning can help people find their bearings.

Let the reading sample inspire you, or buy the eBook as a PDF on the GAIA marketplace. GAIA members get a 10% discount when ordering.
