Neutrinovoltaic wafers: manual vs. industrial

Neutrinovoltaic wafers: manual vs. industrial

“Experimental” vs. “high-tech vacuum plasma coating”

Neutrinovoltaics is a groundbreaking new technology. It makes it possible to convert radiation invisible to us into baseload-capable electricity. Because this is so incredibly new, some people still cannot believe it, despite the numerous scientific papers available on the subject. With this article we want to show how simple an experiment on it can be, and what category of machines is needed for series production.

In very simplified terms, neutrinovoltaics could be described as a further development of photovoltaics. In photovoltaics, sunlight excites electrons in the solar cells to move, producing direct current. So that this electricity can be used in the household, an inverter converts it into alternating current.

In neutrinovoltaics, many wafer-thin layers of graphene are embedded between silicon semiconductors and placed on a carrier foil. The graphene vibrates microscopically due to radiation invisible to us and generates a minimal flow of electrons – likewise direct current. This in turn is converted by control electronics with inverters into alternating current that we can use.

Neutrino Power Cube video stillUnlike photovoltaics, where only one layer is excited by sunlight, neutrinovoltaics stacks numerous microscopically thin layers on top of one another.

With such an enlarged surface in a relatively small volume, usable energy can be converted from comparatively small voltages and currents.

Depending on how it is collected, this current can then be drawn directly as direct current or – as with photovoltaics – via an inverter as alternating current.

We are repeatedly asked about the state of experiments. Today we want to compare a hobbyist’s way of making it with high-tech industrial coating. In our opinion, the two videos are well suited to understanding the “simplicity” of the technology – although it must be said that industrial production is subject to completely different conditions.

Videos for illustration

For the sake of good order, it should be mentioned that a special silicone adhesive tape was used in this manual experiment and that the graphite from the pencil lead was ground extremely finely. Even so, the production of a power bank for charging mobile phones is demonstrated here very impressively.

The machinery shown in this video is capable of producing 10 m² (!) of coated material per second. On this scale, using the special coating recipe, wafers for almost 500 Neutrino® Power Cubes could be produced every day. That would already be quite an achievement.

The current efforts of the Neutrino® Energy Group are focused. The aim is to find reliable contract manufacturers and to get assembly started in cooperation with them. According to the current state of affairs, this process will probably begin in Asia, because there they have read the signs of the times and are betting on the groundbreaking advantages of this new technology for generating electricity.

In Europe, it has to be said that the leap innovation of the Neutrino® Energy Group’s neutrinovoltaics has still not been properly understood, and large cooperations are not yet in sight. We hope this changes soon and that the obstructions of the company, reminiscent of Zersetzung, come to a swift end.

The people of Europe – like all other people on every other continent – urgently need a baseload-capable form of renewable energy to counter the ever-increasing regulation of the power grid caused by forms of renewable energy that are knowingly uncontrollable.
