Postscript to the Scholé news May 2018

Dear friends of Scholé, I feel I still owe you a basic explanation of Christina von Dreien’s message.

Among some friends of leisure for heart and mind it caused great delight; in others it aroused doubt and mistrust, because it “smells of esotericism”. Over the last two days I have been looking for arguments – not to placate the doubters, no, but to explain to them where their fears and reservations come from: it is high time the term esotericism was demystified!

Did you know that the greatest natural scientists – among them Newton, Kepler, Einstein, Planck and Schrödinger – were mystics, that is, people who devoted themselves to INTROSPECTION (literally: looking with closed eyes) and in this way arrived at groundbreaking new insights, as they themselves emphasised in their writings and letters?

Have you ever wondered why dictators have always feared wisdom-loving philosophers, or poets and songwriters who sang of peace and love, more than heavily armed opponents?

Are you sometimes surprised, too, that the Church still bars free thinkers such as Eugen Drewermann from practising their profession? Or that a peace activist like the Swiss historian Daniele Ganser is banished from all academic circles and denounced and ridiculed by the mass media as a conspiracy theorist?

HAVE YOU EVER LOOKED INTO WHY, IN OUR LIBERAL SOCIETY, SO MUCH ENERGY IS SPENT AT ALL THE LEVERS OF POWER ON DISPARAGING ESOTERICISM?

When I myself was still one of the doubters, I once asked myself this question. I found out that the Greek word esoterikos simply means DIRECTED INWARDS – and that really gave me food for thought… So what established churches, sects, politicians of all parties, serious media, schools and universities agree on in a truly remarkable way is the effort to stop us, by every means, from turning our attention INWARDS?!

ENERGY FOLLOWS ATTENTION. People who have become aware of this fundamental fact find that they can steer their own lives, or that their lives take a positive course for them “as if by themselves”, when they listen to their INNER voice.

The sentence can also be turned round, because knowledge of the cosmic laws, which include the law of resonance between energy and attention, is innate in all of us: children and young people whose attention is NOT directed outwards by “educators”, so that they can follow their own INNER compass undisturbed, experience their self-efficacy step by step and become independent, self-determined adults “as if by themselves”.

As we know, the great majority of our contemporaries were not allowed to grow up like this and are therefore NO LONGER aware of the cosmic law. Instruction, entertainment and the news have reliably ensured that their attention has been constantly diverted outwards since early childhood. As a result they have lost access to their INNER knowledge, so they can only orient themselves by laws laid down by human beings. That makes them playthings of whatever powers and opinions currently prevail! For where self-direction is lacking, alien thoughts and convictions coming from outside automatically take up residence.

Steering people who are alienated from themselves is fairly easy for religious, political or economic rulers: it is enough to direct their attention in the desired direction – whether towards prescribed spiritual paths of salvation, political tendencies, professional careers, selected news or consumer decisions influenced by advertising.

The most important precondition in every case is that people must be prevented from discovering WITHIN THEMSELVES the source of their SELF-EMPOWERMENT! For there they would find nothing but love and connectedness with themselves and all other living beings… As useful idiots – as subjects, compliant slaves, eager competitors, obedient soldiers, partisans, nationalists, religious fanatics, insatiable consumers, credulous media users or anxious control freaks – they would then be completely useless to the exoterics currently in power!

Like war, which is only one variant of it, this exoteric power game ultimately has only losers on both sides. For rulers and ruled alike see themselves forced to misuse their free will, which is equally innate, to compete with each other like there is no tomorrow, in order to survive or to become ever faster, better, richer and more powerful!

Never before have there been so many people in the world who will not be deterred, either by punishment or by the risk of ridicule, from leaving this exoteric power game and seeking the path INWARDS, in order at last to make peace with themselves and the world by reconciling inner and outer, exotericism and esotericism. Some of them, like me, have learned from their own mistakes; others, like Christina von Dreien, were born as bringers of peace. That the time is ripe for her message was confirmed to me yesterday in a most unexpected way:

The Black preacher, flown in from America at the express wish of the bride, gave a fiery sermon heard by hundreds of millions in front of their TV screens and – without mentioning her name – ended with one of Christina’s favourite sayings:
