Neutrino Energy Group develops the Pi Car with C-MET Pune

The Neutrino® Energy Group, an international group of companies, scientists and partners dedicated to developing clean and green energy, recently announced a major investment of 2.5 billion euros in India to develop its revolutionary self-charging electric car, the “Car-PI” project.

The Pi Car will be powered by the Neutrino® Energy Group’s patented neutrinovoltaic technology. It converts energy from the environment, above all from neutrinos and other invisible radiation, into usable electricity. Neutrinos are subatomic particles that are abundant in the universe. This revolutionary neutrinovoltaic technology will be used for a wide range of new, innovative applications.

The company is led by the mathematician Holger Thorsten Schubart (CEO and President) and Dr Thorsten Ludwig (CTO). The Neutrino® Energy Group has now reached an agreement with C-MET Pune, a leading government laboratory of the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY). The agreement covers research into and development of critical materials, such as essential components for the new neutrinovoltaic Power Cubes. C-MET is known for its expertise in advanced materials science. It is headed by Director General Dr Bharat Kale.

In addition, the Neutrino® Energy Group has announced an investment agreement with SPEL Technologies Pvt. Ltd. to provide the necessary support in manufacturing the desired energy storage for integration into the neutrinovoltaic Power Cubes for the Pi Car and other applications. SPEL is India’s first and currently only manufacturer of supercapacitors and their advanced versions. SPEL is also an industry partner of CoERBT, an initiative of MeitY-CMET. Dr Rajendrakumar Sharma, CMD of SPEL Technologies, is known as the “father of supercapacitors”. Dr Rajendrakumar Sharma is also a member of the scientific advisory board of Neutrino Energy Group GmbH.

To accelerate the development of the Pi Car in India, Mr Surya Sharma (head of operations of Neutrino in India) intends to use the expertise from this synergy for the Atmanirbhar Bharat mission, it is stated.

The Pi Car project is also supported by Padma Bhushan Dr Vijay Bhatkar, Chancellor of Nalanda University. He is also part of the Neutrino® Energy Group’s scientific advisory board. Dr Bhatkar is popularly known as the “father of Indian supercomputers”. Dr Bhatkar’s expertise and advice will be of great benefit for the development of the Pi Car and for India’s vision of and commitment to reducing its carbon footprint.

The Pi Car project marks a significant step forward in the development of clean and sustainable energy sources. It will not only reduce dependence on fossil fuels and the resulting carbon emissions, but also create jobs and support the growth of the Indian economy. The Neutrino® Energy Group has committed itself to bringing the Pi Car to market within the next three years.

Holger Thorsten Schubart, together with Prof Dr Rajendrakumar Sharma, gave a briefing on the entire project at a press conference at C-MET in Pune. Dr Thorsten Ludwig (CTO Neutrino Group) and Surya Sharma (Director of Operations of Neutrino in India) and BK Karunabhai, a former journalist, were also present, the statement continues.
