Physics, responsibility and global transformation
On energy and responsibility
When a new year begins, the world faces many challenges – but also new possibilities. This message is not a promise. It is a quiet expression of confidence, grounded in science, time and responsibility. The challenges are just as real as the solutions. For the energy is there. What is changing is our understanding.
NEW YEAR’S ADDRESS by the CEO of the Neutrino Energy Group
Ladies and gentlemen, Excellencies, members of the international community, dear readers,
we come together at a time of global tension – economic, geopolitical, ecological and technological. Yet tension is not the defining feature of our era. It is merely the pressure created by an outdated system – a system based on the assumption of permanent scarcity.
For centuries, humanity organised power through the control of energy: who owns it, who transports it, who withholds it. But history teaches us something decisive: every system based on scarcity collapses as soon as abundance becomes technically accessible.
Over the past ten years, scientists, engineers and researchers on every continent have crossed a quiet but decisive threshold. We have recognised that the universe is not empty, not passive and not silent. It is filled with a constant, omnipresent flow of energy – particles, interactions, vibrations – not episodic, not explosive, but continuous.
Thanks to advances in physics, materials science and mathematical modelling, this reality can today be described coherently. We call such a description the Master Formula – a framework that explains in a unifying way how invisible energy surrounding us can be converted into usable power through resonance and structure. But I will not dwell on equations today. For what matters is not the formula itself, but what it tells us about our future.
It tells us this:
- Energy does not have to be obtained by force.
- It does not have to be centralised to be reliable.
- It does not have to be scarce to be valuable.
- It can arise quietly, locally, continuously, without fuel, without emissions, without borders.
This is not an ideology. It is an emerging physical reality.
With deep respect, I would like to thank the many scientists, institutions, universities, laboratories and independent researchers worldwide who have contributed to this understanding – often without certainty, without recognition, without immediate reward. They did not work for headlines, but for coherence. And sooner or later, coherence becomes truth.
Let us be clear:
The coming decade will not be shaped by belief. It will be shaped by necessity. Artificial intelligence, digital infrastructure, climate adaptation and the growth of the world population are driving energy demand beyond what centralised, fossil-based systems can sustainably deliver.
This is not a question of political preference. It is a question of physics. And physics does not negotiate.
There will be resistance. There will be delays. There will be attempts to slow down this transition. That is to be expected. But history shows us another constant: you can delay adaptation to reality – but you cannot defeat it.
For in this transition humanity has two allies that can be neither lobbied, nor sanctioned, nor intimidated: the first is the universe itself – an inexhaustible source of energy in constant motion. The second is time. And time always favours solutions that are simpler, cleaner and more resilient.
When a new year begins, it gives us no cause for fear, but for calm confidence. The future does not have to be forced. It will come because it works.
Our responsibility is not to accelerate recklessly, but to lead wisely. To ensure that new energy systems put education before dominance, health before control and cooperation before conflict. For energy is not just power. Energy is stability. Energy is dignity. Energy is peace.
One day, future generations may look back and say: humanity did not conquer a new source of energy. It learned to live in resonance with what had always existed.
As we enter this new year, let us remember: the energy is there. Science is catching up. Time is on our side. And with time and the universe as allies, the direction of the future is not a question of whether – but only of how responsibly.
Thank you very much. May the coming year be guided by light, wisdom, patience and courage.
Holger Thorsten Schubart CEO Neutrino Energy Group
We make energy affordable and sustainable. We are realistic but demand the impossible. We believe that with enough ingenuity, the impossible becomes inevitable.
