How lessons for the future are being learned from the crisis

Economic shocks always have the potential to be a strong incentive for new stages of development. This applies especially to the current crisis. Once again, economists predict that the world economy will afterwards reach a new technological level, strengthened. Holger Thorsten Schubart, CEO of the Neutrino Energy Group, forecasts a breakthrough particularly in the energy sector after the current crisis: “Neither a crisis nor a recession can stop progress.”

The attention of the international community is currently focused on the war in Ukraine and other geopolitical tensions. The fragility of peaceful human coexistence in a world full of conflict, but also, in particular, our continuing dependence on fossil resources are forcing a rethink at short notice.

Holger Thorsten Schubart, CEO of the internationally active research company Neutrino Energy Group, says: “Today we face a situation we could never have imagined. We are realising how dependent we are. It is absolutely necessary to seize every opportunity and make the state’s economic structures self-sufficient, especially in systemically important areas. One of the most important prerequisites for surviving a crisis is an uninterrupted power supply. At the moment we still see too much dependence on other countries, or the vulnerability of centralised structures such as large power stations and their grids.”

The current situation raises the question of a fundamental reform of the system of centralised power generation and supply in emergencies such as epidemics, earthquakes or even military strikes, Schubart says. Densely populated megacities would not be able to survive even one day without a reliable power supply. “That is why in future we need absolutely reliable autonomous power sources for every house and every single flat that can provide electricity without fossil fuels. Our company’s, the Neutrino Energy Group’s, neutrinovoltaic technology meets these requirements and is to gradually replace power generation from fossil fuels over the next few years. Rather like a solar cell that does without light, works everywhere and even in total darkness, 365/24, and is therefore baseload-capable.”

In the coming years, the Neutrino Energy Group will enter the commercial market with the first series samples. As it cannot produce the complete line of such power sources itself, manufacturers of electric vehicles, household appliances or other electrical products can also acquire licences and integrate neutrinovoltaic direct-current technology directly into their products, or manufacture under licence the new 5 kW Neutrino Power Cube currently in preparation. The Neutrino Power Cube will be able to supply a small detached house with electricity and heat completely autonomously.

The start of a smaller series is planned in Switzerland from 2024 at the latest. A first large-scale series production with a consortium in South Korea has been agreed for the following years. Matching an equity investment of one billion euros by the Neutrino Energy Group, the consortium from South Korea will invest at least 20 billion euros on site in order to become the leading manufacturer of autonomous energy suppliers in the field of neutrinovoltaic technologies by 2029.

“The most important aspect is the autonomy of the energy sources. Our neutrinovoltaic converters, together with supercapacitors as storage, allow electrical devices to work completely independently of sockets and power cables.”

Graphene makes it possible

Holger Thorsten Schubart explains how it works: “Based on the latest advances in graphene research, our scientists have developed a metamaterial based on doped carbon and silicon derivatives (graphene sandwiches in optimal geometry) that collects energy from the environment, which can be converted and ‘harvested and stored’ as direct current – this technology works under the influence of various kinds of radiation from the invisible spectrum, including cosmic or solar neutrinos, temperature differences, but also artificial sources such as electrosmog.”

According to Schubart, neither the current crises nor the economic recession can stop this and other revolutionary technologies for the future. “Nothing will be the same after the current crisis; the cuts are too deep this time.” After the crisis, the CEO expects a fundamentally new level of recognition for scientific and technological progress and a transformation of the energy system towards much more autonomy. Even if it will take years, he urges that the course be set correctly now, politically too, to use the crisis, grow with it and emerge stronger.

The Neutrino® Power Cube

Thanks to the commitment of the Neutrino Energy Group team – made up of highly motivated and inventive energy specialists and scientists from around the world under the leadership of Holger Thorsten Schubart – this innovation has emerged as one of the most significant technological advances of the century: a device that can reliably generate electricity day and night, is compact, uses no moving parts, is quiet and, regardless of the weather, does not contribute to environmental destruction.

Neutrino energy is truly the energy of the future, all thanks to the efforts of the Neutrino Energy Group and its impressive neutrinovoltaic technology. Humanity now has a long-awaited and trustworthy solution to the current energy crisis. Thanks to their hard work, further essential changes will follow, and hopefully others will follow in their footsteps, so that in the coming years we will live in a better and more environmentally friendly world.

The Neutrino Energy Group

The Neutrino Energy Group is a German-American research group. Its aim is to find ways to harness the power of the invisible radiation spectrum. As fossil fuels are limited and climate change requires the development of alternative and CO2-neutral energy sources, this research group is dedicated to an urgent problem. It has succeeded in creating a dense substance that can interact in a specific way with neutrinos and other invisible radiation. This unique substance is used to build the first neutrino photovoltaic cells for power generation. Vapour-deposited layers of silicon and doped graphene are applied to the carrier layer to make the end product. The thickness of these layers is in the nanometre range. When neutrinos and other invisible radiation strike this substance, they generate both horizontal and vertical impulses. It is crucial that the doped materials have the right layer thickness. At the optimum layer thickness, the atomic vibrations caused by the impulses are brought into resonance. As a result, an electric current can be detected in the substrate material. The hypothesis states that the amount of energy that can be harvested depends on the distance travelled in the process. With this approach it will soon be possible to charge electrical devices anywhere in the world without needing a socket or a cable. Simply “collecting” energy from the environment is a viable option. As a result, humanity will have access to an endless supply of clean energy, which will help to slow or halt global warming.

The Neutrino® Energy Group works with a worldwide team of scientists and various international research centres. They research applications for converting invisible radiation spectra of the sun, including neutrinos – high-energy particles that reach the Earth incessantly and can be converted into electrical energy.
