Is "neutrino energy" the same as "free energy"?

Is "neutrino energy" the same as "free energy"?

There is probably no agreement on what “free energy” actually is, but the term is used frequently nowadays all the same.

Some believe that oil-loving robber barons thwarted Nikola Tesla’s efforts to build a free energy device, while others believe that free energy technologies recovered from crashed UFOs have been withheld from the public for decades. Whatever the historical circumstances, today’s energy system is anything but free. A lot of money has to be spent on fossil fuels, and the profitability and efficiency of most renewable energy sources is questionable. As at every decisive moment in history, humanity finds itself in an energy crisis – but we have finally found the means to solve this problem.

Energy can be neither created nor destroyed

Looking at the big picture, it is easy to see that it is impossible to create or destroy energy anywhere in the observable universe. Energy circulates throughout the cosmos like blood in our veins; it can take many forms, but no new energy can be created and no existing energy destroyed.

So there is no such thing as “unfree” energy, at least from a certain point of view. As far as we know, the universe is the ultimate closed system; therefore all the energy in the universe is available to all sentient beings able to recognise the energy flows of the cosmos and work out how to use them. Fossil fuels are bad for the environment, however you think about them philosophically. Oil and coal have made astonishing industrial achievements possible and taken humanity to the stars, but extracting them has turned out to be a Mephistophelian bargain we did not want to make.

An infinite cosmos of particles

The colossal energy conflicts constantly arising around us in the cosmos far exceed our efforts to generate energy on Earth. According to the most widely accepted models, the sun’s energy is produced by nuclear fusion, and the universe is so densely populated with photons, X-rays and, yes, neutrinos that calling it “empty” would be grossly inaccurate. Despite the cosmic chaos constantly unfolding around us, certain recurring elements are obvious. Every star in the known universe produces neutrinos, ethereal particles that cannot be detected by our physical senses. People have been able to detect the passage of neutrinos with powerful instruments for decades, but only recently have we understood how these “ghost particles” can irrevocably change the fate of humanity.

The hunt for the elusive neutrino

Until recently, science was certain that neutrinos had no mass. Although E=mc² says that everything that has energy also has mass, scientists were not sure whether neutrinos had energy. In recent years, however, billions of dollars have suddenly flowed into neutrino research, and it is quickly becoming clear that the scientific community’s interest in neutrinos is not purely academic.

Perhaps the curtain of secrecy is beginning to lift, or perhaps humanity has unintentionally discovered free energy regardless of the fossil fuel status quo. We know that the fossil fuel monopolies met fierce resistance in the 1990s when it came to producing electric vehicles, yet Tesla is currently advancing in the global car industry. Whatever the political motives, the modern obsession with understanding neutrinos has led to some tangible results.

How much does a neutrino weigh?

The Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT) recently announced that it had successfully determined the mass of a neutrino. Wait a minute, you say, aren’t neutrinos actually massless? To understand how much energy science has advanced in such a short time, let’s turn the clock back a little to 2015.

The physicist Takaaki Kajita of the University of Tokyo and the Canadian physics legend Arthur McDonald knew of each other, of course, but did not work together. Nevertheless, both scientists came across the secret of neutrinos at the same time, providing further anecdotal evidence for the theory that a mass consciousness drives leaps in human invention synchronously around the globe.

What secret did Kajita and McDonald discover? That, contrary to popular belief, neutrinos do in fact have mass. Despite the uproar that followed, this discovery earned the two men the Nobel Prize, and since then the world has viewed the feasibility of neutrino energy technologies in a completely different light. At last humanity has been shown the door to the unlimited, clean energy it has always dreamed of.

The discovery that changed everything

Imagine every star as a pebble falling into a cosmic pond. From the point of impact, a wave of cosmic particles spreads out and continues through the emptiness of space until it comes into contact with a physical body. The particles our sun produces wash up on the shores of planets millions of light years away, and the neutrinos produced in the far corners of the universe add to those the sun radiates here on Earth.

Neutrinos will be produced for as long as the universe exists, which means that these ghostly particles are an inexhaustible source of energy. No matter how long humanity explores the stars, we will never run out of neutrino energy, which raises the question: what other intelligent races might roam the stars, powered by nothing but the endless sea of cosmic particles that fills the universe like an invisible energetic symphony? One day humanity may prove to be a species able to give up its dependence on conventional energy sources by coming into harmony with the endless energetic potential that the universe pours out in all directions.

So what actually is free energy?

What makes energy free? We have already said that, from a certain point of view, all the energy in the universe is “free”, since it can be neither created nor destroyed. But what does it mean when we speak of “free” in connection with energy? Is it possible for energy to be truly free?

However limitless the energy supply may be, real value still has to be invested in manufacturing the technology for generating it, and consumers have to pay for energy-generating devices. It is also important not to confuse the colloquial expression “free energy” with the strict meaning of the term in physics.

According to the laws of thermodynamics, free energy is the energy available at a given point in time. So the laws of physics say that the amount of energy available cannot be infinite. This fact makes it impossible for this physics-specific definition of “free energy” ever to match the dream of unlimited available energy (within the scope of human use) that has inspired inventors, engineers and even artists for more than a century.

Free energy is anything but a “perpetuum mobile”. Instead of trying to break the laws of physics, devices that generate clean neutrino energy try to do so in the most efficient way possible. Since technological devices are needed to capture the energy of the universe, it is impossible for energy to be “free” by our commercial standards. From the perspective of the infinite universe, however, all energy is free, and people gain more and more freedom the more closely they align themselves with the natural energy flow of the cosmos.

Now clean energy technologies are here

Now that we know there is a limitless source of energy constantly raining down on the planet, it is time to develop the tools needed to tap it. It is true that an oil derrick in the back garden is not free energy and solar panels are not much better, but neutrino energy brings us one step closer to the perfect energetic harmony with the universe that will truly unleash human potential.

The idea of the CEO of the Neutrino Energy Group, Holger Thorsten Schubart, has produced a new technology that converts the light-speed passage of neutrinos through everything we see into real energy, using nanomaterials that carry the kinetic energy of neutrino impacts. Given that the scientific community was only recently forced to accept that neutrinos do have mass, it is not surprising that there are no consumer neutrinovoltaic devices yet. It may take another whole decade for neutrino energy technology to mature, but considering how long we have toiled under the tyranny of fossil fuels, our liberation is so close we can almost taste it.

Since the remarkable discovery in 2015 that neutrinos have mass, experiments have been running continuously to unlock the secrets of neutrino energy and usher in the golden age of stellar energy humanity has waited for so long. Shortly afterwards, in 2017, researchers in the neutrino department of the University of Chicago succeeded in generating electricity from captured neutrino mass, proving once and for all that Holger Thorsten Schubart had not been wrong when he founded the Neutrino Energy Group.

Legendary clean energy is born

For years Holger Thorsten Schubart had to endure the ridicule of his colleagues because he steadfastly proclaimed the energetic potential of neutrinos. Long dissatisfied with the state of energy technology, Schubart was determined to unlock the secrets of neutrinos and save humanity from its oil-driven self-destruction. In 2015 Holger Schubart finally received the recognition he deserved, but by then he had already founded an organisation that will go down in the history books as being as influential on the development of human energy use as Standard Oil or Thomas Edison. The Neutrino Energy Group consists of a coalition of scientists from all over the world and is an alliance of German and American organisations that have decided to take the future into their own hands and put widespread neutrinovoltaic technology into practice. We have only a little time left before our unsustainable energy consumption severely limits our species’ potential for growth. Before that happens, we must change course and start using energy technologies that show the necessary respect to ourselves and to the unknown universe that gave birth to us.

Thanks to the Neutrino Energy Group, the technology of tomorrow is here

For years, the team of neutrino scientists and engineers around Holger Thorsten Schubart has been successfully building prototypes of working neutrino energy devices. But now it is time to reach the next stage. Industrial production of the neutrino energy sources they developed is in its final phase. As early as the end of 2023 or the beginning of 2024, licensed production of the Neutrino Power Cubes – off-grid generators with an output of 5–6 kW – will begin in Switzerland.

Per capita electricity consumption in Switzerland is currently around 10,000 kWh a year on average, which means that 5–6 kW is enough electricity for a family of four. If there is an electricity shortfall, e.g. because you want to install electric heating in the house, a fuel-free generator of 10–12 kW can be bought. The Neutrino Power Cube with a net output of 5–6 kW is installed in the form of a housing. It is divided into two areas: one for power generation, containing the power-generating modules, and one for installing a control system. By installing two power-generating units, the output can be increased to 10–12 kW. Neutrino Deutschland GmbH recently published a video of Neutrino® Power Cubes with a net output of 5–6 kW and a photo of what the first test series generators look like.
